Introduction

Travel from Santiago de Compostela to the Rías Baixas on a full-day tour that goes through the Galician region of Spain.

Start off in the capital city of Pontevedra, with a vibrating life in the old part of town.  Pontevedra's car free center helped transform it into one of the most accessible cities

Continue on to  seaside Combarro, Galicia`s most beautiful fishing village. Combarro`ss also a great place to get to know two of the most emblematic structures you’ll run into in the Galician, cruceiros or monumental granite crosses dot this tiny town, and hórreo granaries still used nowadays for drying corn or fish in

Since we are in the land of Albarino wine, we will stop and visit one of the best wineries in the area.

Arriving next in O Grove, O Grove is situated on the mouth of the Arousa estuary. The sight of its many-coloured boats forms an unforgettable image. As well as shellfish gathering and shallow-water fishing, the population lives from the farming of mussels, oysters and scallops on wooden platforms out in the water. Here you will  board a catamaran that will take you along the Ría de Arousa. Learn about the mussel production in the area and how the river is used as a hatchery. Here you will also have the opportunity to taste this delicacy, along with samples of Albariño wine.

After your boat trip, stop and enjoy free time to get lunch.

After visting Combarro, we will visit a winery where we will taste some local wines.
