Enjoy a culinary, food and wine short break in Barcelona. Learn how to prepare signature Spanish dishes in a traditional cooking workshop. Then the next day an excursion to the world renowned Penedes wine region for a Cava tasting & vineyard tour.

Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is a Mediterranean and cosmopolitan city with Roman remains, medieval quarters and the most beautiful examples of 20th century Modernism and avant-garde. It is no surprise that emblematic constructions by the Catalan architects Antoni Gaudí and Lluís Doménech i Montaner have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

The city's origins are Roman, and its long history and economic dynamism have made Barcelona a cultural city, which can be seen in the historic-artistic heritage and the promotion of the most innovative artistic trends.

Offering guests the chance to eat like locals and to discover the traditional cuisine of Catalonia,  our food tours are a great way to get to know the city.  If you’re hungry to discover the rich history and culture of the capital city of Catalonia, then going on a food tour in Barcelona is a must.  The city has an incredible variety  of culinary delights waiting for you to try

The well-deserved reputation of the Spanish gastronomy ´shared either by professionals or people who just enjoy the art of good eating- is in line with a rising tendency to regard cuisine as a distinctive element of culture. People traveling abroad are increasingly taking interest in gastronomy, since they understand it is an identity sign of the country´s culture. Enjoy a half day hands on cooking workshop, in direct contact with local cuisine in a warm, cheerful, participative atmosphere. At the end of the session, you are invited to enjoy a taste of the dishes prepared during the workshop.

Antoni Gaudí is the most famous architect of the Catalan Modernism movement, and there are a number of Gaudí sites in Barcelona Spain that you can visit. Although Gaudí is best known for his masterpiece Sagrada Família as well as Casa Batlló and Park Güell, there are many other Gaudí works that you can see and visit in Barcelona. Some are well-known, others are seldom visited. Although not widely appreciated during his lifetime, Gaudí’s works are now widely studied by architecture students worldwide, seven of his works have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, and Sagrada Família has become one of the most visited tourist attractions in Europe.

On day 3, start with a short drive from Barcelona to El Penedes wine region. We arrive to the Penedes wine country where we are joined by a resident wine maker for a private tour of his fields and facilities, and most importantly a generous and varied cava and wine tasting in his wine cellar. Between his explanations and your questions, you`ll learn all you`ve ever wanted to know about Spanish (Catalan) wine and cava elaboration methods of the past and present. In the wine cellar among the oak barrels and aging bottles of product, you`ll enjoy a generous tasting of wines and reserve cavas, accompanied by a wonderful catered lunch or dinner of Catalan cuisine. Prior to returning to Barcelona, guests will have the opportunity to personally make a bottle of cava in the old artisan fashion to take home with them. After return to Barcelona.

On your last day, your private chauffeur will take you to the airport and say the final goodbye.
