The old walled city of Évora, deserves a visit with passion, it offers time marks of a city that was born over the centuries: monumental churches, historic squares, whitewashed houses and medieval streets ... We will walk by the old aqueduct "Água de Prata" from the year 1537, by the Giraldo Square, by the Roman Temple and visit the Cathedral of Évora, where we will go up to its rooftop for magnificent views of the fields of Alentejo region.
Then we will visit St. Francis Church and its Ossuary Chapel (made of real human bones)
Alentejo wines are most balanced, whilst powerful, appealing, lively and with good ageing potential. We will visit three wineries that will allow you to learn about the production process of Esporão wines, and discover all the care and attention they give them throughout the entire winemaking and ageing process, complemented by tunnels and underground cellars visits. You will be able to experience wine tasting, olive oil tasting, cheeses, sausages & hams, all from the Alentejo region.
